Ever since Google bought YouTube that site went down in flames, the quality of the videos was reduced even more (some videos have the HQ option though) and it’s crawling with ads everyfuckingwhere.
For a while now they’ve been hunting down anything they feel violates copyright laws, like music and movies and I’m all for that, but now they are even removing the audio from a ton of videos if they happen to use a song or a piece of a song from any known band, even if it’s just a couple of seconds they will remove the whole audio……..but leave your video there for everyone to see 
, feels like censorship doesn’t it

I lost 2 openings from some really OLD anime series, just the openings, nothing fancy like episodes or anything. They give this generic reason about some company filing for copyright infringement even when nobody has said anything, and the sad part is that they treat these videos as if we actually make any money out of them, WTF??
I tried to whore this site a little bit by uploading some of our AMVs, but they disabled the audio from 3 of them. The one that really angered me was Legend of the Dark Knight by Lusvell (dualmatrix on this site).
If it wasn’t for the existence of this site I would’ve tried to reupload the videos again and again even if they suspended my account a million times, but I don’t see the point to it, after all we have better quality videos here for direct download than a crappy stream
