The World’s most beautiful game. Expect the unexpected. Just a week ago, the USA was struggling to stay in the tournament after a brutal greeting from Brazil and Italy. Today, they defeated the war machine that’s Spain, 2-0, and broke their victory streak of 35 wins and no losses since 2006. Now the US will go onto the finals to battle it out with Brazil, most likely, later this week.
While I was rooting for Spain, I have to say, if this makes the sport more popular in the US, hope they keep doing whatever they are doing.
