Movies galore! Astroboy+Iron Man 2, Heroes and more!

animation entertainment movies win wtf

So I take one moment to relax and I find a lot of awesome stuff, so sharing time. Although, the Surrogates trailer has been out for quite some time, I saw a behind-the-scenes feature on that, so, I just felt like posting that one here.

Anyway, everything after the break.

ASTROBOY TRAILER, VIA TWITCH
not a big fan of that guy with the hair’s performance here as the creator of Astroboy (Nicolas Cage) In fact, all of the voices really sound out of place. I understand that they need to put big names to attract people, but once in a while, real voice actors would really help.
Release date Oct. 23rd

IRON MAN 2 LEAKED FOOTAGE FROM COMIC-CON
Pretty crappy sound, then again, cant expect much for a cell phone, but hell, thanks a lot to whoever took it, cause this footage is the sweet! War Machine at the end? WIN. I also hear Jon Favreau doesnt mind the leak, thinks it’s good to hype people to see it. I agree >_> You can find the footage HERE.
Release date May 7th, 2010

HEROES SEASON 4 TRAILER, via Comicbook Resources
Apparently the subtitle will be “Redemption”. Hopefully it will redeem the shitty road the show has be going so far. Okay, I give them kudos for season 3, they at least tried, specially on the second half (after writer Jeph Loeb got axed. I mean, he had his great moments in comics, but holy crap do they suck nowdays, and this show suffered as well)…I’m still sore about season 2, that was such a waste.

SURROGATES TRAILER
via Comicbook Resources
Based on the graphic novel by the same name. John McClane–I’m sorry, Bruce Willis stars as a detective bla bla bla just watch it, it looks great. Due date Sept. 25th

THE WALKING DEAD HEADING TO TV? Via TWITCH AND EVERYONE ELSE
Apparently everyone and their grandmother has already covered this, so I might aswell get in line.
“The comic series in question is The Walking Dead, a epic story about a group of survivors trying to keep it together following a zombie apocalypse, created by Robert Kirkman.” This comic is fucking amazing, like everything else Kirkman writes (Invincible? Irredeemable Ant-Man? Yes.) This series will get adapted as a TV series and will debut on AMC some time in the future (no date has been given) I think everyone agrees that it’s better this than adapting it as a movie. The story and characters would just get chopped and watered down.

AWESOME SHIRT! I’ve been following Edgar Wright’s (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) progress on the Scott Pilgrim movie, based on the graphic novel by the same name, and the more I see of it, the more I realize that they have got to make the merchandise available to the public at some point. There’s just so much awesome stuff coming out of the set of the movie. Wright posts every day on his blog a picture or a video from the set of the movie, so we can follow the progress.

LEGION
Finally to kill this long post, a movie that should’ve come out in the 90s. The description goes like this, “After a terrifying biblical apocalypse descends upon the world, a group of strangers stranded in a remote truck stop diner in the Southwest unwittingly become humanity’s last line of defense when they discover the diner’s young waitress is pregnant with the messiah.” Honestly, this shit looks hilarious. Someone in the commentary section at Twitch pointed out something interesting; how well will the movie do in the Red States??
