The follow up to the recently-released DC Animated movie, Superman/Batman: Public Enemies, has been revelead to be a Multiverse-based crisis (It’s a preview on the DVD of said movie, go buy it now, it’s good) It’s based on the Earth-3 characters, the Crime Syndicate, where heroes are villians and vice-versa. Now, everyone is jumping on the gun saying that it should be an adaptation of Grant Morrison’s Earth-3 storyline, but it’s not, it’s confirmed as being an original storyline, and quite frankly, as much as I wish it was, it shouldnt, Grant didnt create those characters, just used them for a story.
The whole thing is written by ex-JLA writer (got fired D:) and Ben10/JLU writer Dwayne McDuffie. He has his moments, (gotta admit, I hated his JLA comic run) so I’ll give him a chance. Also, no Kevin Conroy as Batman = sad, but what can you do? Anyway, check the featurette, via MTV.
