Dante's Inferno anime trailer

animation anime cool stuff video games

An Animated Epic is a collection of 6 animation shorts, each running for about 10 minutes, and each one created by a different studio – some from Japan (Production I.G, Manglobe), some from Korea (Dongwoo Animation). The whole charade is being run by Electronic Arts and Film Roman, a subsidiary of Starz Media, and it’s based on EA’s blasphemy of a game Dante’s Inferno. Far from being a faithful interpretation of Dante Alighieri’s classic poem “Divine Comedy”, the game looks like a brainless wipefest, defiling the original work in every possible way – and this anime adaptation seems to make no effort in avoiding that same path. Dante’s Inferno: An Animated Epic is releasing on DVD and Blu-ray in February 2010.

That looks AWESOME O_O, I hope to see it RIGHT NOW! xD, seriously it looks awesome, I hope the game is as good as they intend it to be, I mean AE Games is not really the best house for plot-based games, aside from the awesome fact of this story having NOTHING to do with Dante’s Inferno, I think they only used the hell circles as reference but really, I don’t see the need for the title.
