Paramount debuted the final full-length trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender yesterday on Apple.
Damn! That looks great! Did Aang just go Sub-Zero on one of the Fire Nation soldiers? At this point I don’t care about the choice in actors, the special effects look fantastic, and from what I’ve seen they’re sticking pretty close to the first book, I wann see it NOW! D:<

Conversion to 3D
The Last Airbender is directed by M. Night Shyamalan, of The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, Signs, The Village, Lady in the Water, and The Happening previously. The screenplay was also written by M. Night Shyamalan while the story was co-written by Shyamalan and creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino. This is based on the popular Nickelodeon cartoon series Avatar: The Last Airbender that originally aired in 2005. Paramount is bringing The Last Airbender to theaters everywhere starting on July 2nd this summer.

Personally I’m getting tired of the 3D hype, to me that’s merely an excuse to charge more at the box office so they let you borrow a pair of plastic 3D glasses, few movies should be in 3D, mainly those with a lot of CGI involved.
Rant aside, I think I will see this one in 3D regardless of my constant nagging

Hace unos días vi el cartel en el cine pero parecía demasiado bueno para ser verdad una película del verdadero Avatar (el de Cameron fue engañoso…) y dirigida por el tipo de Señales.
Sí se me antoja mucho verla, que pese a su estilo como de anime americano me gusta la caricatura.

Lo de Cameron fue una payasada, registro el nombre “Avatar” antes para que nadie lo pudiera usar, aunque yo creo que si hubieran registrado el nombre completo talves no habria problema, si no ve cuantas peliculas tienen nombres similares y solo cambian por una palabra =/
