England tried, they were just not playing at Germany’s level, 4-1 goals is something to be ashamed of, after all these players kick butt on their respective clubs, I wonder what happened there.
Scoring Summary
| Germany | England |
|---|---|
| Miroslav Klose (20′) | Matthew Upson (37′) |
| Lukas Podolski (32′) | |

Mexico is out of the race too.

There’s a lot of controversy surrounding the score by Argentina’s Carlos Tevez, who appeared to be off-side, though I saw the game-play in real time and saw nothing wrong, everything happened so fast I don’t think the second referee had time to notice it.
Even if that first goal would have been dis-estimated Argentina still scored 2 more goals, leaving Mexico out of the tournament.
The truth of the matter is, even with that first goal against them, Mexico had plenty of time and chances to turn the score around, but it was clear they were just no match for the hungry Argentinians who used whatever openings they found to get close to the goal.
Scoring Summary
| Argentina | Mexico |
|---|---|
| Carlos Tévez (26′) | Javier Hernández (71′) |
| Gonzalo Higuaín (33′) | |

Now Argentina and Germany have to face each other, we’ll see if Maradona has what it takes to take on the Germans again, but this time it’s gonna have to be from the side-lines.

Argentina is just ravaging their adversaries in the world cup. Argentina is in all probability going to win it all, I pity whoever they’re playing next!
Germany is next, I don’t know who to pity right now O_o
