I removed the FIFA World Cup widget, it was good at the beginning but after the first set of games it wouldn’t show the new scores, you pretty much had to select a specific country to see their current score.
Instead of looking for another widget I just took advantage of my current theme and replaced the movie trailers at the top of the front page with the World Cup news, and added a WP widget to the sidebar containing my latest posts in that category.
I wanted to try the ESPN widget but I don’t like how it looks, there’s too much empty space and the scores are too small, too bad it can’t be edited =/.
