It really amazes me how Mexico managed to pass to the next round, they were truly lucky two more teams in the same group screwed up as well.
Imagine this, losing against Uruguay but passing because they have less goals against, did they make a deal with the devil?
Had Uruguay scored more goals Mexico would be out right now, if that’s the best they can do Argentina will crush them.
I read somewhere that Mexico supposedly “underestimated” Uruguay, to that I say BS! They can say all they want, controlling the ball for most of the game is not the same as winning the game, they either score or don’t.
Mexico was lucky France played as bad as Napoleon’s idea of invading Russia.
I say get rid of Blanco for the next game and Mexico will probably see an improvement, the guy’s too old to still be playing front man.
