The Original House of Pancakes and their weird schedule

Yesterday I thought I could stop by and get something to eat, it was raining and the traffic was murder, it really took me a while to finally get there and find a parking spot (it’s in a shopping center).

It really surprised me when I tried to open the door and read their schedule:

Open daily 7:00 am to 3:00 p.m.

What kind of schedule is that?

It’s the first time that I find a restaurant that closes that early I would like to understand why.

Wouldn’t they make more money if they stayed open until, let’s say, 9 or 10 pm?

If somebody knows of a very good reason for this please, pretty please, let me know, I have only eaten there a couple of times over the years, and this doesn’t make any sense at all.
