This has to be the most intense match I’ve seen in this cup so far. Uruguay was controlling most of the first half, but then came Ghana’s first goal at the very last minute.
It took Uruguay a while before they could even the score by a beautiful shot by Diego Forlan, that guy’s a monster.
Everything stayed like that until the very last minute of the complementary time, when a massive exchange in Uruguay’s territory lead to a sure goal that was promptly cleared off the goal line by Uruguay’s Luis Suarez, who risked it all throwing the ball out with his bare hands, getting a red card and giving a penalty kick to Ghana.
However Ghana missed this great opportunity when Asamoah Gyan slammed the ball against the crossbar.
During the shootouts Uruguay’s goalkeeper managed to stop John Mensa’s kick, but then Maxi Pereira failed one too. However everything changed when Dominic Adiviah failed his shot, and Uruguay wins 4-2.
Scoring Summary
| Uruguay | Ghana |

I hope the final is as intense as this one.
The next match is going to be between Netherlands and Uruguay, I wonder how that one will turn out.
