Probably the most dangerous photograph you have ever seen

cool stuff photography

Simply stunning!

The amazing photograph was taken by Marsel van Oosten using a radio controlled remote and shot from a handheld monopod, turned upside down.

Apparently the lion didn’t like the clicking sound coming from the grass and charged, good thing nobody was actually taking pictures in person. You can read the rest of the description here.

Technical Details:

  • Camera: Nikon D3
  • Lens: AF-S 24-70/2.8
  • Focal Length: 40mm
  • Shutter Speed: 1/5000 sec
  • Aperture: f/5.6
  • ISO/Film: 800

This shot reminds me of that old picture of a bull charging towards the camera in Spain.

Don’t you love animals charging straight at your camera? XD
