Too much sushi…

I don’t think we thought things through when we placed the order…

I went with my brother to a Japanese restaurant and sushi bar. We decided to order only sushi, so we ordered 2 sets of different styles of sushi, so it was something like 2 orders of California rolls, 2 of Shrimp Tempura rolls, etc…

The problem was when we did the math after ordering. The server said “that’s a lot of sushi,” and that’s when we realized what we did. Most orders have 6 rolls, some 4, and some 8. We ended up with 78 assorted sushi rolls, 39 for each of us.

And two miso soups.

By the time I ate the last one I was begging for mercy.  The server couldn’t believe we ate the whole thing, she thought we were going to ask for a box to take some home.

It was expensive, and I don’t think we’ll do it again…at least for a couple of months.
