Neil deGrasse Tyson on Romney’s PBS comment

In last night’s debate governor Romney said he would “stop the subsidy to PBS” to help balance the Federal Budget.

Later on, Neil deGrasse Tyson tweeted this:

I kind of wonder how much supporting PBS channels costs to the Federal Government, I mean, he did say he didn’t want the Federal Government to decide for the states, so what gives?

How I wish we had more than two candidates, choosing between these two is like being between a rock and a hard place.
