Injuries and deaths as a result of violence, shootings, and customer stampedes are nothing new on Black Friday, but there is a site that shows you death and injured counts. Meet Black Friday Death Count.
The site has a list of deaths, injuries, and links to those news reports dating as far back as 2006. Could it be that some people find it better for them to read about the Black Friday casualties from one website, than going around reading a bunch of mixed news and offers from news outlets? But, how good are these numbers? I feel the death toll should be higher, I just find it hard to believe only 4 people have died from stampedes and violence-related injuries in the last 7 years.
In any case, it’s good to know that doesn’t happen on Cyber Monday, mainly because it’s an online event.
