Happy Batman Day!

As Part of the 75th Anniversary Celebration of the Dark Knight, DC Entertainment declared today “Batman Day,” and there’s stuff going on on comic book stores nationwide.

You have to wonder though, how much did it cost Bruce Wayne to be Batman at the beginning of this crusade against crime in Gotham? Well, here’s an infograph that Mashable did last year comparing the cost of being Batman in the 1930s, and now.

I somehow doubt Wayne Manor costs less than $500,000, unless the infographic refers to the price of maintaining it. In any case, how come Wayne hasn’t gone bankrupt yet? It’s not like he’s only had one Batmobile, he’s gone through quite a few over the years…

Anyway, DC Comics made apost about the highlights in the life of the cape crusader, check it out if you haven’t.
