Some advertisers try to make their commercials fun, while others go for the weird. In this case it’s a little bit of both.
The makers of a new fragrance for women called KENZO World came up with a weird take on perfume commercials. If I had to describe it, I’d say it’s a cross between the wacky Old Spice commercials and Christopher Walken dancing in Fatboy Slim’s “Weapon of Choice” music video.
I’m not gonna criticize it, but while I’m pretty sure they were going for “dance like nobody’s watching,” but the lack of actual dance moves made it weird, not to mention the strange seizure-like start of the dance clip.
Lasers and more seizures? Flying? Does she need a doctor? In any case, does the advertise fragrance contain LSD?
Now the real question is how this strange take on a perfume commercial helps sales.
