Nickelodeon’s “The Last Airbender: Legend Of Korra” Trailer

Nickelodeon released at SDCC the first trailer for their upcoming series The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra, a sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender.

I’m sold, I loved the first series and according to the creators this one will have a somewhat darker tone, so I expect a lot of fighting and stuff like that.

I wonder though, why is it called “The Last Airbender” and not “Avatar,” didn’t they use that name for the series before Cameron came up with his movie using the same name? TV series and movies are not the same thing, so I don’t see why they couldn’t use the previous name.
