The difference between Google Maps and Apple Maps

The differences are so subtle, I don’t think anybody will notice the difference.

Jesus Christ, what a difference! Although, I really doubt Apple fans will notice the difference.

Joke aside, it appears the new Apple Maps app is giving the wrong directions, and some places don’t even appear on the map. Take a look at this post on Gizmodo, it looks to me like they’re using old data.

I’ve had my share of outdated GPS navigation software, and believe me when I say those were some of the worst experiences I ever had. If Apple really wants to compete with Google in the maps and navigation business they’re gonna have to partner up with somebody who either sells them updated data, or get their own crew to do the same thing Google has been doing for a few years now.
