I thought the Jurassic World trailer was coming out on Thanksgiving day
So the first official Jurassic World trailer is finally out a few days in advance, so let’s forget about everything bad in the world for a moment and concentrate on dinosaurs.
Some of the CG looks a bit rough, unlike the trailer for the first movie. I’m honestly not fond of the futuristic bubble glass vehicles they show there, I’d rather see the yellow Jeeps back instead, it makes them look like inside a hamster ball. In any case, my best guess is this is still a work in progress, or at least that’s what I’d like to believe.
I also noticed there is no mention of the Spinosaurus from Jurassic Park 3, and the production decided to make up a new dinosaur instead of using one that actually existed. Bold strategy, let’s see how it pays off.
Steven Spielberg returns to executive produce the long-awaited next installment of his groundbreaking Jurassic Park series, Jurassic World. Colin Trevorrow directs the epic action-adventure from a screenplay he wrote with Derek Connolly. Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley join the team as producers.
Jurassic World will be released in 3D by Universal Pictures on June 12, 2015.
