Japanese robot dances and sings in front of live audience
Meet HRP-4C, a robot designed to resemble a young Japanese woman, that has been taught by her creators, Kawada and AIST, how to dance, sing and strut. HRP-4C performed live with a human dance troupe for visitors to the Digital Content Expo held in Tokyo recently.
According to Pinktentacle, the performance is called “Dance Robot LIVE! – HRP-4C Cybernetic Human,” and it’s the culmination of a year-long effort to teach the humanoid to dance. The routine was produced by renowned dancer/choreographer SAM-san (a member of the popular music group TRF who has worked with numerous well-known artists like SMAP and BoA), and the lip-synced song is a Vocaloid version of “Deatta Koro no YĆ ni” by Kaori Mochida (Every Little Thing).
You all know where this is going, right? You know what’s next? Sexbots, so when the time comes I’ll take a little trip to Japan to get some robot pussy learn more about their culture đ
