The Amazing Spider-Man New Poster

So the new Amazing Spider-Man movie poster is out, but there’s something odd about it.

In terms of design it looks nice, but what’s with “the untold story”? What else is there to know about Peter Parker?

I wonder if they are going to base this movie on the Marvel Ultimate universe again. I hope not, if there is something I hated about the previous incarnations is that they threw a mega-villain like the Green Goblin for the first movie; and killed him. The second movie was good, but the third one was utter crap.

Anyway, I think it would have been easier to just go with Spider-Man’s spider logo with a red background or something like that, I know they’re trying to be creative, but this looks like something out of a horror movie, and we’re talking about the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man here…
