The only three ways to design a kids movie poster

I think this will probably dispel the myth of the whole “Dreamworks face,” I mean, I know they abuse the crap out of it, but as you will see they’re not they only ones doing it.

The “Asian peace sign” confuses me, I know many Asian people abuse the crap out of it, you have probably seen it in many manga or anime series too, but to go as far as to call it “Asian peace sign” is kind of stretching it a bit too much.

Anyway, I wonder why there’s only three ways to do it, can’t they do something else that shows movement other than the “Boston marathon” pose? Although, to be fair, many of these animated flicks have had more than one variant poster, it’s mainly Dreamworks that constantly uses the same thing with the raised eyebrow over and over again.

  1. The “asian peace sign” isnt being used to communicate “peace”, it’s being used to denote the number 2. Cos all the films it appears in are sequels – as in movie number 2.
