A sequel to The Legend of Zelda: A link to the Past???

I’ve waited a very long time for this, my body is ready.

During yesterday’s Nintendo Direct announcements, they mentioned in the last bit of news that a sequel to their 1992 classic, and one of my favorite games of all time: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. The best thing is that it’s coming this holiday season to the Nintendo 3DS.

The new game will take place in the same world as the previous one, and it will be a mix of 2D and 3D.

That looks glorious. The closest thing to the A Link to the Past game’s mechanics was The Minish Cap, which was pretty fun to play, but I still like the former better.

By the looks of things I’m gonna have to get my hands on a Nintendo 3DS soon.
