Geekgasm: Superman 75th Anniversary Animated Short

To help commemorate Superman’s 75th Anniversary, Man of Steel director Zack Snyder teamed up with artist and animator Bruce Timm to create an amazing two-minute short that traces the Man of Steel’s history from Superman’s debut to current times.

Whether you’ve seen it already or not, the Youtube version has way better quality on full screen than the one on Entertainment Weekly.

WOW, that’s all I can say. I really enjoyed this short, it made me feel like a kid again. I’ve always been a fan of Superman, especially when I was a kid. 

Although my fascination for the character has diminished over the years, I still like good old Sups. It’s too bad DC Comics New 52 portrays a Superman with a totally different attitude.

By the way, it kind of weirds me out that searching “Superman 75th anniversary” on eBay yields mostly coins and stamps….
