Back to the Future 2 promised our young minds many things that were supposed to exist by the year 2015; Pepsi Perfect, hoverboards, flying cars, instant hydrated pizzas, holographic 3D movies, and a whole bunch of stuff that ended up crushing my dreams when we still don’t have most of that.

While half of the promised stuff will probably not happen during my lifetime (like hoverboards), at least we have Universal Studios coming up with a trailer for Jaws 19 to celebrate Marty’s arrival to October 21st, 2015 in Back to the Future part 2, which is nice. The movie was playing in theaters when Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) arrived in the future, and the holographic shark on the marquee scared the living stuffing out of Marty.

And here’s the trailer for Jaws 19, anticipating the release of the Back to the Future 30th Anniversary Trilogy Box set on Oct. 20.

On a related note, remember that “Pepsi Perfect” bottle when Marty arrives that costs $50? Well, Pepsi will be releasing 6,500 bottles collectible bottles online in the U.S. for a mere $20.15.

That’s a catchy tune, and $20.15 is a funny play of numbers, but come on, $20? But there will be giveaways of the bottle during New York’s Comic Con to the first 200 people to show up at the Pepsi Perfect booth each morning dressed as Marty McFly, which I guess will be in the hundreds. Marty McFly’s costume is one of the most common cosplays I see every year.
