Superman Begins…….NO MORE!

“While Warner Bros must be in production on a Superman feature by 2011, the courts may have just made it impossible for them to do a “Begins” style reboot. According to Variety, the family of Superman co-creator Jerry Siegel have been awarded control of early Superman stories and newspaper strips. The article states these stories cover “depictions of Superman’s origins from the planet Krypton, his parents Jor-El and Lora, Superman as the infant Kal-El, the launching of the infant Superman into space by his parents as Krypton explodes and his landing on Earth in a fiery crash.” Of course, the family and Warner Bros could come up with an equitable license agreement to all the elements in dispute. However, this latest ruling may mean the studio will have to prep a Superman films without the aid of the origin story.”

Perfect example of greedy people exploiting one of the most influential and known fictional character. It’s a bigger insult when they dont have any love or respect for it either. I bet Siegel is rolling in his grave.
