This guy does a cover of the song “Tsugaru Kaikyo Fuyugeshiki” from “Sayuri Ishikawa” using a weird Japanese musical instrument called “Otamatone.”
The Otamatone is a Japanese musical instrument developed by the Cube Works Company along with Maywa Denki and Novmichi Tosa. It is a musical-note shaped singing toy which requires two hands to be played: while one hand holds and/or squeezes the “head”, the other hand controls the pitch of the song by sliding the finger up and down the stem. The sound made by this instrument is often compared to the sound of a theremin and a synthesizer. The otamatone has three pitch levels and two volume levels.
Yeah, that’s not weird at all…
