Street Fighter X Tekken for PS3/Vita: Why is Megaman fat?

The version of Street Fighter x Tekken for the Sony PS3 and Vita systems will have a few exclusive characters: Pac-Man, Mega Man, Cole, Kuro and Toro. But, why is Megaman fat?

Was that Honda in a Megaman costume? Even Pac-Man looks in better shape, and the guy is completely round…

I kinda like the cats though.

I was reminded by my brother about the cover art for the first Megaman game, and that’s the guy you see on the trailer, no wonder it didn’t make sense to me that he’s using a gun instead of having his signature arm cannon.
