Transformers: Fall of Cybertron 90-second launch spot
It’s almost here, the sequel to one of the coolest Transformers video games ever created, and what the movies failed to be.
Bruticus, the Dinobots, Metroplex, my geek senses are going haywire!
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is the sequel to War for Cybertron, the highest rated Transformers game ever. Coming Fall 2012 for Xbox 360, PS3, & PC. Join the epic battle for survival as the Autobots take their last stand to defend their legendary home planet from the Decepticons.
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron transports you to the final days of the planet Cybertron where you will experience the darkest hours of the apocalyptic war between the Autobots and Decepticons. Embark on an adrenaline-fueled journey through a wide range of missions and massive environments designed around each character’s unique abilities. With the stakes higher than ever before, you play as a variety of Transformers, including Grimlock’s nearly indestructible T-Rex form and the legendary Combaticons forming into the colossal Bruticus. Fight through both sides of the Transformers’ most epic battles leading to their legendary exodus from their homeworld.
I haven’t been this excited about a video game for a while, I mean, have you seen the box art for the Bruticus toy? Just take a look:
That’s what I wanted to see in the live-action movies :(.
The only thing I’m bugged about is how this story is supposed to connect with Transformers Prime, starting with the fact that the designs in the animated series resemble the movies more than the video games. I hope at some point they redesign the characters in the series, as well as bring more Autobots, it’s getting ridiculous how the Autobots manage to survive when the Decepticons outnumber them a hundred to one, and how many “clones” the Decepticons have.
Anyway, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron can be pre-0rdered through the following retailers:
Game Stop, Walmart, Amazon, Best Buy, and for PC only through Activision and Steam.
