Reenactment of Maradona’s “Hand of God” made with Lego Bricks

In the run-up to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, The Guardian is publishing a series of brick-by-brick reconstructions of classic moments from previous World Cups.

Here is Diego Maradona’s infamous ‘Hand of God’ goal for Argentina against England in the quarter-final of the 1986 World Cup in Mexico.

And here’s the original in all its glory. Believe it or not, the British are still mad about it, I mean, it only cost them the tournament.

It could have been be worse, at least he didn’t pull the same crap Uruguay’s Luis Suarez did against Ghana in the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
