When is the best time to buy stuff?
The best time to buy certain products has no definitive answer as the trend keeps changing year after year. But with Back to School season approaching, I decided to check Consumer Reports’ list for this year, especially after I ended up buying things around Christmas that wasn’t really as cheap as I had seen months before the end-of-the-year holiday season.
This list is mostly for consumer products and electronics. For example, computers are the cheapest around Back to School between September and mid October. They almost double in price from Black Friday to Christmas.
Travel tickets and car sales tend to follow an entirely different trend, so I’m not going to include those here.

It’s always a good idea to keep tabs on items you may want from a couple of months before, so you may see if what you see are actually sales and not just the regular price.
