In a game evenly matched, with plenty of fouls, plenty of yellow cards and even a red one, with a Netherlands reduced to only 10 players, in the second complementary half, at the last minute a goal came by someone nobody expected, midfielder Andres Iniesta scores the only goal of the match, making Spain the new champion and the first cup they take home in their long history of soccer.

It was an exhausting game, even for the fans in the stadium and those at home.

It’s the first time Spain wins the cup, it would have been the first time for Netherlands too, but there can only be one winner, I hope FIFA adopts the use of technology to better judge the games as this particular cup was full of errors by the referees, and players act hurt too often.
