so what’s up?

How’s it been people of the internetz, it’s been about a week since I stopped posting on the site, I kinda half-ass posted something around Tuesday or something like that, but that doesn’t really count.

It seems my luck kinda changed, I found a job, well, a job found me (Soviet Russia anyone?), it’s just a 3 to 4 month project but that’s better than not having a job at all.

Since I failed miserably at making money off the site to even cover the hosting costs this temporary thing is a blessing until I find something else, and I’m pretty sure I won’t be finding anything in my real line of work any time soon, you see unless I am an Engineer with at least 4 years of experience in Computer Science I can’t work as a computer technician even when I have the freaking Comptia A+ certification.

Anyway, I was able to get some money repairing a couple of computers and selling another in the area, that will at least give me some peace of mind until I get my first paycheck, I won’t be making much but after more than a year and a half of being without a job this is a blessing, specially with all I owe in taxes…

In other uninteresting news about my life, I bought a copy of the 2010 Delorme Street Atlas with the Earthmate GPS LT-40 and it works pretty good, I might make a review in the next few weeks while I get a hang of using this new version, the last one I had was the 2006 with the Earthmate GPS LT-20. The bad thing about my purchase is that in a few days Delorme will start selling the 2011 version, but I needed the new map ASAP so I really couldn’t wait a month for the new one, I hope I get some kind of updates on this version since I just got it a little over a week ago.
