Time lapse view of Earth from space

Time lapse sequences of photographs taken by the crew of expeditions 28 & 29 onboard the International Space Station from August to October, 2011, who to my knowledge shot these pictures at an altitude of around 350 km.

It’s really amazing how the cameras were able to pick up the lights from the cities below. The Aurora Borealis looks so good from space, I had no idea it was visible from up there.

The Earth looks so beautiful from up there, what a gorgeous planet we live on.
